Greetings, friends, and welcome to act 2 of It's Curtains! We hope you're all as excited as we are! You'd better be, because it looks like you might be staying in our magnificent Opera House for some time. The show will be starting soon (June 28th) with a mingle log but before the curtain goes up, let's get to know each other a little better...shall we?

You can use this post to introduce yourselves, exchange contact info, start plotting, the usual shenaniganry. Feel free to provide your contact information (plurk, discord, ect) and don't forget to follow the stagemanagers- it'll make things easier when your time comes. The discord is, of course, completely optional and any important information posted there will also be posted on the mod plurk.

Hey, everyone! Lyndon here, formerly of Jezebel Mephistopholes from Saint's Row fame (as well as several appearances in various other murdergames), bringing you Shilo Wallace from Repo! The Genetic Opera! Like a surprising number of the other characters here she's 17 and unlike at least some of the other characters she comes from a nightmare dystopia future! She has a lot going on in her life, but she's a good kid who just wants to be a normal goth teen if only her overprotective dad and her dead mom's ex could just get it together!! As a note, uh... Repo! is kind of A Lot, so if you could all slide over to this post here and uh. At least familiarize yourself with the potential warnings she comes with??? And lmk if you want to avoid any of them, since luckily she's one of the few characters in the film who can.

Hello! I'm Nara and I'm bringing in Angus McFife XIII from the Gloryhammer concept albums! He's the protagonist of the two most recent albums, Space 1992: Rise of the Chaos Wizards and Legends from Beyond the Galactic Terrorvortex which should tell you everything about the tone of the story. Angus is the crown prince of the intergalactic kingdom of Fife and is charged with defeating an evil wizard who refuses to die and wants to blow up everything/rule the universe (whichever works). He goes on quests, has allies who help him out, and everything is super dramatic.

Also, the story centers on Actual Scotland. The names and geography are 1:1 to our real and non-magical version. Hope you like learning about obscure towns names.

I played here in round 1 with a murder lesbian from a defunct Vocaloid concept album. This time, I'm playing from a fun new musical about cheerleaders and the pressures of being a teenage girl and maybe a little bit about some murder. It's fine! Everything's fine. Riley here is the captain of her cheerleader team, the Giles Cory High Tigers. It's her senior year and it's her job to lead the squad after an, uh...embarrassing disaster last year. She's enthusiastic and dedicated to everything about being a cheerleader. She's going to bring some positivity to the Opera House, damn it! She'll be doing that in room #3.

Hello everyone! My name is Sabra. I've been in and out of the DWRP scene for...uh...about 8 years I think? I've only been in one other murder game (Sora, in Disney Ronpa), but I am WELL aquainted with the genre because of the gremlins I live with (Lynny and Ri). I'll be playing Sigyn from the steampunk Norse mythology in space concept album The Bifrost Incident by The Mechanisms RIP. WHAT’S GOOD FOLKS it’s Lynsey, who some of you may have played with in other games run by our fair mod team. This is my first time in Curtains though and I am playing Nana Daiba from Revue Starlight, a multi media project that spans musical stage shows, live “in character” concerts, a 12 episode anime, manga adaptations, and (of course) a gacha game for mobile. Unlike most of the other “idol adjacent” multi media projects though, Revue Starlight also has a lot of stuff like sword fighting thrown in and the stakes are more dire. (Also gayer?? Somehow??) I’m playing Nana from the anime specifically, where the girls of Seisho Music Academy’s 99th class sing and do battle to become the Top Star. A giraffe is involved. For reasons.

Nana herself (called Banana by everyone else) is the kind and gentle de-facto mom friend of the class. She cooks and bakes for everyone all the time and is always there to help out. She is an absolute sweetheart and takes care of everyone around her, but there may be more to her than meets the eye! I picked her up after hmming and hawing over it for a long time just for this game so she’s still very new to me and I am super nervous! But I hope you all enjoy playing with her!

Hello! This is Sam, the user known as hummingmint on plurk, and i’m bringing anne of cleves from the musical Six! I like to describe Six as Henry VIII’s wives mixed with the spice girls, in a pop concert showdown to see who is the true queen— or rather, who was handed the worst deal by Henry. Anne is known for looking worse than her portrait— so much so that her husband compares her to a mule, never consummated the marriage, and divorced her so he could marry again. In the musical, however, she’s a lot more confident about the entire situation— she ends up as queen of her own castle, after all.

Hello, everyone! I'm Jen. Past murdergames include rounds 1, 4 and 6 of Trustfell and Antumbra. This time around I'll be rounding out the Revue Starlight cast cap with Claudine Saijo. She's kind of tsundere and a bit of a gadfly, but she means well for the most part. She's been a stage actress since she was a child, and she takes being the best seriously. That's why she starts up a rivalry that affects a lot of what she does. Honestly, though, she does mean well and sincerely cares about her friends underneath all the bluster.

As a quick canon note, Claudine's initial canon point is from the end of the anime, but her true canon point is from ReLive, the mobile game that serves as something of a direct sequel to the anime. It introduces three more theatre schools, and somehow manages to be even more gay than the anime. How that's possible, I do not know, but it manages.

Claudine's title is The Second Fiddle, which she's going to hate, and she'll be staying in room 2.

HELLOOOO, everyone! This Lynny, one of your extremely excited mods and the player of yet another chaotic space pirate with a fondness for gratuitous violence and mechanical organs. Along with Jonny I'll be playing a few NPCs but they're a special surprise to help us later. ;)

Jonny D'Ville is the Captain First Mate of a band of immortal space pirates called The Mechanisms. They travel the cosmos, gleefully throwing themselves into conflicts they find and sometimes crafting a little mayhem themselves by doing things like pretending to be the god of the dead, overthrowing corrupt moon kaisers or attacking a heavily guarded military base to steal the woman powering their defense grid because the ship engineer and her girlfriend (who is the actual ship) wanted to. As you do. They also happen to be a band who retell the stories they experience in song!

Jonny himself is a feral hedonistic bastard with a love of violence and mayhem but thankfully (as far as he knows) he's coming off a very recent rampage on a fort full of clones so he's had his fun for the moment. He's staying in room 20, his title if The First Mate (which he is going to h a t e, please always refer to him as that).

Hi everyone! My name is Phas, new to It's Curtains, but past murdergames include NvCN, Airlocked, We Could Be, and Foolish Mortals among others. I'll be joining you all as one Steven Universe from that cartoon with lots of crying and his name in the title.

Steven is an (incredibly tired) ball of sunshine who just wants to help people and make friends. So it's good and bad that he's basically at the forefront and center of an intergalactic conflict started by his mother thousands of years before he was born, because it's given him a whole lot of opportunities and challenges on the helping and making friends front. (Really, a slightly worrying number of his friends and family started things off by trying to kill him, it's fine, everything's fine.) He's also had a pretty long road trying to figure out where he actually fits into everything and society at large, what with being a half-human hybrid. So you know being in a murdergame environment is gonna do wonders for him!

If you're playing from a canon capable of fourth-walling Steven, I'm okay with him being recognized, but please avoid getting into "YOU ARE A CARTOON, LET ME DETAIL YOUR ENTIRE LIFE STORY" territory.
