- THE BIG ONE IS THAT the existence of the Wizard in general was supposed to be an endgame reveal - the fact that it wasn't pretty clearly made y'all think he was the endboss of this round, which is a bit unfortunate? But hey, more reason to come kick his ass in r3? And even in the original endgame, you certainly wouldn't have gotten even a vague physical description, much less had someone meet him.

- As part of that, we genuinely did mean for this round to be less meta? The SQUIP wasn't a narrator, after all, so the meta is coming back full-force in r3 with the Wizard.

- Both our moles just randomly revealed themselves in the first couple of weeks? Idk that we had much modplot planned around them, but we had assumed that both of those would be betrayal kill reveals.

- This is less about speedrunning and more about the cast we ended up getting, but the Phantom was both more and less of a dick than we thought it would be? Christine and to a lesser extent Jeremy made it more personally douchey due to like, having history with them, but then it sort of experienced Baby's First Relating To Someone with Spinel also having a background of getting tossed aside by the person she was created for just because she did the job she was designed to do? Obviously that's from its very biased point of view on what happened, but you know. We didn't think it would get attached to any of the cast at all. AND THEN IT DECIDED IT WANTED TO BE A ROCK TOO

- In keeping with that, the SQUIP was originally going to be doing much more basic SQUIP shit - we mixed it up in part to keep the BMCs from catching on too fast, because R is terrifying

So. The empty rooms. One is a storage closet, one (5?) was meant for Michael. What about the other one? And why did room #5 look slept in?

Room 19 was actually meant for Michael! Room 5 was initially where Evan was sleeping before he decided "hm,,,maybe I shouldn't have eaten a super computer?" and then got accidentally killed by said super computer having a panic attack.
