And with the strong possibility everyone's going to overcrowd a poor Denny's this weekend (sorry Heather), it might be fun to get down what everyone's been up to in the interim! Character: Steven Universe

Round: 2
Summary: Went back to Beach City cause it was kind of destroyed and he needed to help rebuild it and also fix the fairly literally dead earth underneath it. He's been SQUIPsitting and getting Little Homeworld up and running since then, and has managed to get therapy with at least 75% less unfortunate kaiju transformations to instigate it.
He probably hasn't had time for more than quick visits to other worlds but you bet he's kept in touch. All the R2's have probably received a slightly obscene number of self-made memes featuring Lion.
A few people probably know he's starting to entertain the idea of a cross-country roadtrip. All thirty-nine states, which has probably been a conversation starter all its own.

Stephen 100% gets if Steven has some lingering anger towards him for however long, totally healthy.

...however, he'll edit any pics of Lion in to I Can Has Cheezburger type memes and send them right back.

Oh he definitely does but, like, half his friends got there by trying to murder him, Stephen was just better at it. There's probably been a text convo or something that got unexpectedly deep and frank about it, it was probably awkward for a while, but he's as chill as can reasonably be expected about it.

WHoever Steven's therapist is they're not paid nearly enough

Sigyn and Loki have def visited several times. Loki will find the gems FACINATING and Sigyn just likes chilling with Garnet. She is actively encouraging him to go therapy and on the roadtrip and does not understand why everyone else is freaking out about the number of states.

I feel like he was kind of resistant to therapy at first on the basis that the idea originally came from the SQUIP but then he showed those X-Rays he got during endgame to like literally anyone who could understand them

little did he know that when he left for his roadtrip, Spinel was hiding in the glove compartment

I don't think he'd have actually left yet, so now I'm just imagining Spinel squished into the Daidon's glove compartment for like a month giggling to herself. Steven goes to check something while he's just out getting gas or whatever and she's just "SURPRISE, HOW FAR DID WE GET" and gives him a heart attack.
